"Empire Earth - The Art of Conquest Expansion" è il titolo dell'espansione dedicata ad Empire Earth e contiene delle campagne bonus da aggiungere alle precedenti.Innanzitutto va sottolineato che per poter giocare a The Art of Conquest si deve obbligatoriamente installare il gioco principale, "Empire Earth".
Ora vedremo punto per punto cosa contiene questa espansione. Sono disponibili tre nuove campagne per il Single Player: Campagna Romana, Campagna Pacifica (Seconda Guerra Mondiale), e Campagna Asiatica (ambientata nel futuro). Inoltre è presente una nuova epoca ambientata nei pianeti più lontani dello spazio profondo. Chiudono la carrellata delle novità una serie di bonus inediti assegnati ad ogni civiltà, due nuovi eroi per la lotta alla supremazia, nuovi edifici, ed infine ulteriori unità, che vanno dalle frecce incendiarie ai satelliti spia.
A parte queste nuove aggiunte il gioco rimane comunque lo stesso e ci ritroveremo quindi con le medesime opzioni, compreso il Multiplayer. Trattandosi di un'espansione, The Art of Conquest non modifica il sistema di gioco di "Empire Earth" ma lo arricchisce solo nella modalità in singolo.
Ancora una volta dovremo scegliere un popolo e farlo progredire tecnologicamente. Potremo costruire edifici e addestrare le truppe. Insomma la struttura di gioco è rimasta la stessa che conosciamo tutti e non c'è molto altro da segnalare.
