German thrash metal veterans DESTRUCTION are scheduled
to enter Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark today (April
21) with producer Jacob Hansen to begin recording their
new album, entitled "D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N." An August 29
European release is expected
"Celebrating 25 years of DESTRUCTION is, of course, an
additional motivation to record a new classic,"
comments DESTRUCTION frontman Marcel "Schmier"
Schirmer. "But the band has never before been so well
prepared for a recording, and the new material is very
