Description
The musical drama "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" is a screen adaptation of the Broadway musical in 1979. Once in London has lived a young and naive barber Benjamin Barker. He was married to a lovely woman named Lucy, who bore him the same lovely daughter. In his distress, the charm of his wife, also praised voluptuous Judge Turpin - and sent Benjamin Barker to transportation for life, without interference to take his wife. Fifteen years later, Barker has escaped from prison, under the name of Sweeney Todd's got to London - and found in his house nor his wife nor his daughter. Todd was killed and vowed to take revenge on his oppressors - Judge Turpin and Bamford bailiff, who assisted the judge in his unworthy deeds. On the advice of Mrs. Lovett, does not hide his affection for the fugitive, he returned to his former trade - again became a barber in the hope someday to get the judge to kill him.
