Description
The film tells the story of Ian Dury, who, in his younger years became a founding member of the British punk movement. About the fight between his undying love for his wife and rapidly developing relations with her friends, an incredible talent and all-consuming performances on stage. These were years of unprecedented desire for freedom and overwhelming popularity of rock 'n' roll. Its idols were erected on a pedestal, where people worshiped them and imitated them. Its relaxed, intoxicating music became the symbol of generation.
