Hace unos dias os presenté el primer disco de Abigail Washburn; Este es el último, editado el 20 de Mayo de 2008, ya hice una breve referencia a él.
El album se titula de la misma forma que sus componentes Abigail Washburn & the Sparrow Quartet. Abigail Washburn ha creado un nuevo sonido que cruza líneas mundiales y culturales, personificado en la música cruda y transcendental de the Sparrow Quartet. La colaboración del evento de primera tiene como protagonistas al virtuoso del banjo Bela Fleck, el violoncelista Ben Sollee y el ganador de Premios Grammy el violinista Casey Driessen. El arte de Abigail se basa  en su amor tanto por la música de raíces estadounidenses como el cultivo chino en busca del que ha estado explorando durante una década. Producido por Bela Fleck, la música fue compuesta y organizada por los cuatro. La mezcla sin precedentes de dos banjos, violoncelo y violín se desarrolla de la misma manera que una suite de cámara.
