TRAMA

Dopo aver trascorso centinaia di anni solitari facendo ciò per cui era stato costruito - ripulire il pianeta - W.A.L.L.E (che sta per Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class - Sollevatore terrestre di carichi di rifiuti) trova un nuovo scopo nella sua vita (oltre a collezionare cianfrusaglie) quando incontra un affusolato robot ricognitore di nome EVE. EVE si rende conto che W.A.L.L.E è involontariamente incappato nella chiave che assicurerà il futuro del pianeta, e torna di corsa nello spazio per riferire le sue scoperte agli umani (che sono ansiosi di sapere di poter tornare a casa senza rischi). Nel frattempo, W.A.L.L.E segue EVE per tutta la galassia, dando vita ad una delle avventure comiche più fantasiose ed emozionanti mai portata sul grande schermo.
