Heavy Rain is a pretty specific game, that has a lot more to do with moral than with hard action. It starts with a man suffering a heart attack, and you, as a player, are in the position where it's up to you to save his life. However, you must know that this is the man who became the reason for your beloved's just hours ago, as well as placing yourself into grave danger. So what will your choice be?

Every gamer, of course, is prone to making critical choices throughout the course of the game, however, the choices has never been so sharp. In any other game, upon making one unsafe choice, you can undo the damage later; here, well, it's not horror or fantasy where a character can be resurrected.

 The game is indeed an important, mature experience – something entirely new and special. It has no equals on the market today, rest assured.

Heavy Rain is an epic story about four people from various sides of the society. These characters are the ones you can easily switch, making each of them by turn your 'face' in the game. In the game's world, there's a maniac on the loose, called 'The Origami Killer', and whichever character you pick, you will have to interact with this creature one way or another. This is all we can tell you so far – because we definitely do not want to spoil the course of the events for you.

 When you set out to play the game for the first time, you should expect 10 to 12 hours of intensive gameplay before you complete the first tour. The blend of engrossing interaction, sophisticated film noir stylistics, and exclusive plot devices is shocking at some times and thrilling at others, never leaving you space for boredom or procrastination.

 A word of warning, if this can be interpreted as such: Heavy Rain plays on human emotions like nothing else, especially taking into the account the level of psychological involvement it takes to complete the game properly. The central topics are love, loyalty and dedication, researched from the point of view of moral values. A true breathe of fresh air.
