This includes all the original songs, with introductions and DJ commentaries, from all of the GTA3 radio stations, as well as all of the commercials aired on the various radio stations. This soundtrack has never actually been released in a commercial form. Enjoy this unofficial release by Po. *************** QUALITY NOTES *************** The files in this soundtrack were taken straight out from the GTA3 radio WAVE files and converted to 160 kbps VBR (ABR) mp3 files. The quality of the music is exactly as it is heard from the in-game radio station, no better, no worse. ************* LEGAL NOTES ************* It is possible that this release may piss off the record labels that provided music for Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto 3. So, in order to avoid any legal problems, only those who already own the GTA3 PC game may download this soundtrack LEGALLY, since all those who own the game already have the songs in uncompressed form, and this is simply an organized backup copy for those people. I personally can't see why Rockstar would have any problem with this release, since they weren't planning on making any money off the soundtrack, and since I'm not making any money off of it either. All I'm doing is taking the audio files GTA3 players already have and putting it in a smaller package for them to listen to with convenience. If anything, the record labels should be thanking me for provoking people to listen to the crappy artists they've released music from. *********** QUESTIONS *********** Q1: Why didn't you take the songs available on other albums and include them in this release? A: Because those songs wouldn't have the DJ commentaries. Q2: Why did you include all of the DJ commentaries in the songs? A: Because that way, it feels more like it's the GTA3 soundtrack. Anyone can just find songs and listen to them, but these ones could bring back some memories from playing the game. ************* Many Thanks ************* Audacity - free audio editing software dBpowerAMP Music Converter - free music conversion software
